Your account dashboard

Your account lives at devthrottle.com. The app runs on your machine; the account is what ties your devices together, carries your subscription, and gives you a place to see usage and manage access. Signing in on the website lands you on the Dashboard.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is a read-only glance at your setup: your registered devices, each with an Active/Idle signal from its heartbeat. Active means the heartbeat landed in the last 15 minutes; anything older reads Idle. A chip beside the heading names your plan: the plan you subscribe to and whether it is active or ending, or Free with a link to the plans on Billing. If your account still has a Pro trial from before trials ended, a line above the heading says how many days are left. It answers "is my machine up" in one look; management actions live on the dedicated pages below.

Before any device has signed in, the list is replaced by a Get DevThrottle panel with the download and three setup steps, so the dashboard is also where a new account starts.

The pages

• Devices - every machine and phone connected to your account: rename them, manage the addresses other machines use to reach them, and revoke the ones you no longer trust.
• API keys - create and manage the keys your own tools use to call the DevThrottle API.
• Usage - what your account has done, by service, by model and by key, down to individual requests.
• Billing - your plan: what it includes, its current state, and the Remote and Pro subscriptions.
• Settings - your nickname, which emails DevThrottle sends you, and the product usage data switch.

The sidebar also carries Models and Download. Until your first machine is connected it starts with Get set up instead of the Dashboard; once a machine is connected, Get set up gives way to the Dashboard.
