Usage

2 min read

Usage is where "every action shows what it cost" lives. Anything your account spends credits on - a dictation, an API call - lands here as a number you can check, so hosted AI never feels like a black box.

The views

  • Daily spend - your credit spend day by day, so a spike is visible the day it happens, not on some end-of-month surprise.
  • By model - which models the spend went to. Model names are shown exactly as you request them through the models list.
  • By key - spend attributed to each API key, with a drill-down per key. Name your keys well and this view tells you which integration costs what.
  • Recent activity - individual recent requests with their cost, to the cent, and what they were (transcription minutes, tokens).

How the numbers relate to billing

Usage shows consumption - the per-request charges aggregated into spend. Money in (top-ups) and your balance live on Credits and billing; the two pages are two sides of the same ledger: billing is what you loaded, usage is where it went.

Note
Only hosted features spend credits. Agents running through DevThrottle on your own subscriptions and keys never appear here - running them costs nothing.
